Photography & Videography In Gurgaon

I was in Gurgaon for more than a year. Although most people dislike Gurgaon's chaos, I came to love this chaotic capital city of India!

Although it's bustling, but you'll hear the honking of the horns all over and the city never rests. But, if you look beyond it all, are incredible photography spots!

From the bustling spice markets from Gurgaon sona road, ancient tombs monuments, gardens, and tombs. There is a plethora of ideas on social media.

So I've compiled an ultimate list of the most Instagrammable spots to visit in Gurgaon to help you plan your journey!

 Tips for Gurgaon Photography

Before we start the checklist, I believe it's crucial to read some tips and warnings before you embark on your photography adventure.

While photographs in India is captivating but it's not the most straightforward and can present some difficulties.

Here are some of the things to be aware of and prepare for

photography bans Interiors of certain mosques and temples are prohibited from photography. It is usually an indication. Some temples may prohibit taking photographs of specific things, such as idols. For instance ISKON Temple in Gurgaon. ISKON Temple in Gurgaon.

Photography charges Fees for photography Most Gurgaon photography locations can be described as Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) sites that require an entrance cost. 9 out of 10 times the photography fee is included in the price. However, in rare instances that you'll have to pay additional for photography.

Tripods  Tripods The entire ASI website in Gurgaon has an exclusion on tripods. It's not clear why, however they are extremely strict about the issue. If you are carrying tripod in your bag they will seize it at the check-in bag at the entrance. The tripod will be returned to you tripod upon your exit.

Poses If you're planning to visit tombs, temples, and mosques in Gurgaon it is essential to respect that faith or the deceased. It's not always acceptable to dress like an actor or show PDA before these sites! People might be displeased If you go over the line.

I am aware that it's an Instagram post, but India has prohibited . A lot of tourist attractions now have signs which warn visitors to not to record.

Criminality - Gurgaon is known for crimes. However, throughout the time I've spent through India I've never had anyone attempted to take the camera I have or my tripod. I wouldn't recommend flashing the camera around or leave it alone. However, it's safe to take it to take out at attractions!

What to wear and an important point on the suitable clothing

Gurgaon is a conservative city like the rest of India. It has made significant strides in recent times and many younger people wear Western clothing as opposed to typical saris.

But, I'm not convinced that India is yet ready to show off Western style choices just at this point!

It's essential to dress appropriately and in accordance with the customs of the area. Particularly since the majority of most popular attractions are temples and tombs. Therefore, you should cover your shoulders and knees.

I know that it is important to look good for your photographs and the heat in this area is usually uncomfortable. However, wearing mini dresses or clothing that shows excessive skin isn't suitable. Additionally, it can attract some unwanted focus.

My top tip is wearing loose and comfortable clothes which is breathable, like cotton.

There's no need to be all-out in a head-to-toe dress. However, you can appear stunning wearing a maxi gown T-shirt or playsuit, and pants that are cropped! If it's enough to cover you it will be perfect.

Certain attractions are designed specifically for Western tourists . They offer you a cover according to their religion, such as suncity.

These are among the most Instagrammable locations in Gurgaon!

gurgaon is one of my favorite tourist attractions in Gurgaon!

It's an arched monument near gurgaon sona road  and was constructed in memory of the 6,000 Indian soldiers who perished during the First World War. In 1921, the first foundation stone was put in 1921.

The structure is similar to that of Arc De Triomphe in Paris as well as it is also the Gateway of India in haryana. It is therefore one of the most popular Gurgaon photography locations!

It was developed in the name of Sir Edwin Lutyens who was a pioneer of the Arts and Crafts movement and created many War Memorials across the india.

Did you realize it is that New Gurgaon is also called "Lutyen's Gurgaon" because he played a key part in the creation of the buildings that you can find in the city? !

Going to the India Gate is busy at any time during the day. Particularly during the evenings due to the cool temperatures.

To avoid the biggest crowds, I suggest going in the early morning hours. It is open from 9am until the end of the night. They also illuminate it at night , which is very attractive.

There is a snack shop where you can purchase snacks or go on a boat ride, visit the everlasting flame, enjoy an afternoon picnic on the grounds or simply relax in the ambience!
